
Meeting of the HOC President Spyros Capralos with the President of the International Handball Federation Hassan Moustafa
The President of the International Handball Federation Hassan Moustafa visited the Hellenic Olympic Committee premises and met with the President of the Hellenic Olympic Committee and IOC member Spyros Capralos, in the presence of the 1st Vice President and member of the HOC Plennary Session Stelios Angeloudis.
Mr. Moustafa congratulated Mr. Capralos on his recent election as President of the European Olympic Committees and invited him to the International Handball Federation headquarters in Basel, Switzerland, to further discuss the future of the sport in international sporting events.
They had also discussed the possibly inclusion of the Beach Handball in the sports programme of Olympic Games and the desire to create a large handball field in Athens.
Finally, Mr. Capralos assured the representatives of the sport that he will remain close to the handball family and will continue to support decisions and actions that serve the promotion and development of the sport nationally and globally.
Mr. Hassan Moustafa was accompanied by the Managing Director of Forum Club Handball Dr. G. Butzeck, the President of the Hellenic Handball Federation Konstantinos Gandis, as well as the former Secretary General of the Hellenic Handball Federation and current member of the Board of Directors Konstantinos Stamatiadis.
