Spyros Capralos was elected President of the European Olympic Committees

The election of the HOC President and IOC member Spyros Capralos to the highest posistion of the European Olympic family is a great honor for Greek Olympism and Sports!

Mr. Capralos won in the elections during the General Assembly of the European Olympic Committee in Athens, receiving 34 votes against 16 for the Dane Niels Nygaard who has been acting President.
