On the occasion of the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace, refugee children / asylum seekers from the refugee camp of Kavala in Northern Greece, participated in a joint training with their peers from the local Basketball Academy, sharing pleasant moments and sending their own message of peace and solidarity by raising their white card!

The event took place in the framework of the “Together in Sport” Program implemented by the Hellenic Olympic Committee, in collaboration with METAdrasi – Program Coordinator – and the German Olympic Sports Confederation (DOSB), funded by the European Asylum Fund.
