Memorandum of Cooperation between the Hellenic Olympic Committee and the Olympic Committee of Serbia

A Memorandum of Cooperation between the Hellenic Olympic Committee and the Olympic Committee of Serbia was signed in Milan during the Winter Olympic Games.

The Memorandum was signed by the President of the Hellenic Olympic Committee, Isidoros Kouvelos, and the President of the Olympic Committee of Serbia, Dejan Tomašević, in the presence of the First Vice President of the Olympic Committee of Serbia, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ivan Todorov.

The Memorandum provides for the strengthening of bilateral cooperation in the field of sport, as well as the effective promotion and dissemination of the ideals of Olympism and the Olympic Movement. Cooperation between the National Olympic Committees of Greece and Serbia will include the organization of joint activities in the field of Olympic education, as well as the exchange of knowledge, experience, and resources in high-performance sport.

Particular emphasis will be placed on the participation of sports officials in consultations, seminars, lectures, and other forms of scientific and professional development. Additional focus will be given to the advancement of Olympic education and the promotion of Olympic values, with the possibility of implementing joint initiatives and projects aimed at their further enhancement.
