In addition to Dionysis Kasdagli’s silver medal, Kostas Paspatis also received a medal. Paspatis beat Robertson (Great Britain) and K. Akratopoulos (Greece) in the qualification, but lost to John Boland (Great Britain), who was from Ireland, in the semifinals and was eliminated in the final. There was no competition held to determine the 3rd place and he shared 3rd place with Tapavicza of Hungary.
