Silver medal, August 3, 1920, Alexandros Theofilakis, Yiannis Theofilakis, George Moraitinis, Iason Sappas, Alexandros Vrasivanopoulos, automatic pistol team, Antwerp 1920.

Greek shooting had already written golden pages in the first hosting of the 1896 Olympic Games in Athens, and something similar was achieved in the Second International Olympic Games in 1906 in the Greek capital. At least in Europe, people were aware of the abilities of Greek shooters, and so our tradition was upheld. Our shooters Alexandros Theofilakis, Yiannis Theofilakis, Giorgos Moraitinis, Iason Sappas and Alexandros Vrasivanopoulos worked together excellently and won the silver medal in the team competition with the automatic pistol at 30 m distance with a total of 1285 points.

Nine shooting teams from as many countries participated in the final round. The gold medal was won by the USA team and the bronze medal by the Swiss team. The ranking USA 1310 Greece 1285 (A. Theofilakis, I. Theofilakis, G. Moraitinis, A. Vrasivanopoulos, I. Sappas) Switzerland 1270 Brazil 1261 France 1239 Spain 1224 Belgium 1221 Portugal 1184.
